Introducing Our New Collaboration With Japanese Fashion Brand BEAMS

Japanese fashion is iconic all over the globe. The country’s most famous designers (think Yamamoto, Miyake, and Kawakubo) have inspired our love of everything from selvedge denim to bomber jackets.

One of our favorite Japanese brands is BEAMS, a modern lifestyle company that opened its first store in the Harajuku district of Tokyo in 1976. Much like JanSport, BEAMS fashion is rooted in college campus style, and the company is known for customizing fashionable designer products to suit its authentically Japanese aesthetic. That style has become wildly popular, leading to BEAMS expanding to more than 170 stores throughout Asia.
