affiliates, or of any agencies/entities involved in the development, production
or administration of the Sweepstakes are not eligible to enter or win a prize.

1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:
September 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. MST - September 24, 2025 at
9:59 a.m. MST

2. HOW TO ENTER:
(a) Log into your public Instagram account, follow the official
JanSport Instagram account, www.instagram.com/jansport (@jansport),
if you do not already.
(b) Like the Sweepstakes post.
(c) Comment on the Sweepstakes post by
[i] Telling us the craziest place where you’ve taken or would take a
JanSport backpack (“Story”), along with the hashtag
#JanSportBowBagSweepstakes. AND
[ii] Tag a friend who is personally known to you; a legal U.S. resident,
18 years of age or older; and who you believe is interested in JanSport
backpacks, bags and other products. (Be sure to distinguish your
Instagram handle and your friend’s Instagram handle.)
(d) For details regarding the collection/use of your personal
information in conjunction with the Sweepstakes, please review
Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.jansport.com. By entering, you
agree to the terms of Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. You may also wish to
review Meta Platforms, Inc.’s Privacy Policy for its Instagram social
media platform at https://www.instagram.com.
(e) By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to abide by and
be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor,
which are final and binding in all respects and not subject to
appeal.

3. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS- CONTENT OF STORY:
(a) Story must appear as a comment to the Sweepstakes post on
@jansport. If posted on one’s own Instagram account (or
elsewhere), Story will NOT result in Sweepstakes entry.
(b) Story also will not result in Sweepstakes entry if Sponsor
determines in its sole discretion that the Story:
(I) violates or infringes upon the rights of any party (including
copyright, trademark, right of privacy, right of publicity) – DO
NOT COPY OR RE-GRAM OTHER PERSONS’ STORIES IN WHOLE
OR IN PART;
(II) is inappropriate, obscene, hateful or otherwise unfit for
publication;
(III) advocates the use of alcohol or drugs, acts of violence or
illegal behavior;
(IV) disparages or damages the goodwill and/or business
reputation of Sponsor or its JanSport brand;
(V) states or implies that a JanSport backpack should be used in a
manner contrary to the usage instructions;
(VI) is not truthful in all material respects (if Story addresses the
craziest place where you’ve taken a JanSport backpack); or
(VII) is not relevant to the Sweepstakes theme of the craziest place
where you’ve taken or would take a JanSport backpack.

4. GRANT OF RIGHTS IN STORY:
(a) In posting a Story, you grant to Sponsor the non-exclusive,
irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable,
sublicenseable right and license to use, perform, exhibit, reproduce
and/or otherwise exploit the Story in any manner and in any and all
distribution channels, venues or media now known or hereafter
devised, without further notice or any compensation. Without
limitation, Sponsor may re-post the Story on @jansport,
https://www.jansport.com and perhaps elsewhere. The preceding
grant of rights is subject to any rights retained by Meta Platforms,
Inc. in its Instagram social media platform.
(b)You further (i) waive any “Moral Rights of Authors” or similar natural
rights of ownership you may have in the Story and (ii) agree, upon
the request of Sponsor and without compensation of any kind, to
execute any additional documents so as to effect, record or perfect
the grant of rights contemplated by this section.
(c)In posting a Story, you also understand and agree that: (i) Sponsor
has wide access to ideas, stories and other literary/artistic materials
submitted to it from outside sources or being developed by its own
employees and that such ideas/stories/literary/artistic materials may
be competitive with, similar to (or even identical to) the posted Story
and that Sponsor shall have no liability under any legal theory to you
or any third party in conjunction therewith; and (ii) Sponsor does not
have any duty of confidentiality or other fiduciary duty to you with
regard to your Story.

STORY REPRESENTS SOLELY THE VIEWS/OPINIONS OF THE APPLICABLE
PROSPECTIVE ENTRANT AND DOES NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS/OPINIONS
OF SPONSOR IN ANY MANNER. SPONSOR IS MERELY ENCOURAGING
PERSONS TO POST CONTENT REGARDING THE CRAZIEST PLACE THAT A
PERSON HAS TAKEN OR WOULD TAKE A JANSPORT BACKPACK; SPONSOR
DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANY STORIES
AND DOES NOT ENDORSE OR RECOMMEND THAT A PERSON TRAVEL TO A
PARTICULAR DESTINATION OR THAT THE JANSPORT BACKPACK IS SUITABLE
OR APPROPRIATE FOR USE IN THE CONDITIONS COMMUNICATED IN ANY
PROSPECTIVE ENTRANT’S COMMENT. SPONSOR WILL NOT EDIT OR
MODIFY STORIES OF PROSPECTIVE ENTRANTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH
ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES.

5. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS: TAG A FRIEND
(a) It is strongly recommended that you secure the consent of a
friend before tagging them in your comment and entering the
Sweepstakes.
(b)No Sweepstakes entry will be received if comment does not tag a
friend.
(c) If more than one (1) tagged friend is included in comment, only
one (1) Sweepstakes entry will be received provided that all
friends are tagged in compliance with these Official Rules.
Tagging more than one (1) friend will NOT result in receipt of
multiple entries or increase your chances of winning.

6. ADDITIONAL ENTRY RESTRICTIONS:
(a) Limit of one (1) Sweepstakes entry per person. If you
post a Story and tag a friend more than once, only the
first Story/tagged friend will be considered for possible
Sweepstakes entry with all additional Stories being void.
However, should Sponsor determine that you have egregiously or
repeatedly violated the entry limit, you will be disqualified from
the Sweepstakes altogether.
(b) A given Instagram account may only be used by one (1)
person to enter the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute, the
owner of the Instagram account used to submit the entry, as
determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed to
be the entrant.
(c) If participating via mobile device: standard message and data
rates and/or wireless Internet access charges may apply when
participating in the Sweepstakes. You may be charged by your
wireless carrier in conjunction with Sweepstakes entry. Be sure to
check your wireless carrier's pricing plan before participating in
the Sweepstakes via mobile device. Wireless Internet access may
not be available in all areas.

7. WINNER DETERMINATION/WINNER NOTIFICATION:
(a) Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all
eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor will
conduct the random drawing on or about September 25, 2025.
Provided that Story complies with these Official Rules (including
Rule 3 above), its content will not be taken into account in the
winner selection procedure.
(b)Winners will be notified via direct message from @jansport. As a
condition of prize award, winner may be required to sign a
Declaration of Eligibility, Liability Release and a Publicity Release
(where legal) to be returned within indicated time period.
(c) IT IS THE ENTRANT’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIGURE
THEIR PRIVACY SETTINGS SO AS TO ACCEPT DIRECT MESSAGES
FROM @JANSPORT. IF, FOR ANY REASON, WINNER CANNOT BE
CONTACTED, FAILS TO TIMELY RESPOND TO DIRECT MESSAGE, FAILS
TO TIMELY SIGN/RETURN DECLARATION OF ELIGIBILITY, LIABILITY
RELEASE AND PUBLICITY RELEASE (WHERE LEGAL) [IF APPLICABLE]
OR IF PRIZE CANNOT BE DELIVERED, SUCH PRIZE WILL BE
FORFEITED AND AN ALTERNATE WINNER MAY BE SELECTED FROM
AMONG ALL REMAINING ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED AS SET FORTH
ABOVE.

8. PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING:
Prize (5) – Super Break Plus Black Embroidered Bow Bag. Approximate
Retail Value: $50 each.
Total Approximate Retail Value of All Prizes: $250
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during
the Sweepstakes Period.

9. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
(a) Limit of one (1) prize per family, household or address.
(b) Prize will only be shipped to winner at a street address in the (50)
United States or the District of Columbia.
(c) Prize must be accepted by winner as awarded. If winner declines
prize for any reason, no alternate prize or compensation will be
awarded.
(d) Prize is not transferable.
(e) No prize substitution permitted except by Sponsor due to
unavailability of prize for any reason and only then for prize of equal or
greater value. Prize is NOT redeemable or exchangeable by winner for
cash.
(f) Applicable taxes on prize and unspecified expenses related to
acceptance/use of prize are winner’s sole responsibility.
(g)By accepting prize, where legal, winner agrees to the use of his/her
name and image for advertising/trade/publicity purposes by Sponsor
without further compensation or notice.
(h)Friend tagged in winning entry will not receive any prize.

10. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
(a) By participating, entrant releases and agrees to hold harmless
Sponsor, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, and the directors,
officers, employees and agents of any of the above organizations, as
well as Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability arising from the
Sweepstakes or the receipt, acceptance, use or misuse of prize.
(b) Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, illegible/garbled,
incomplete (including omission of prescribed hashtag), inaccessible,
corrupted, damaged or misdirected entries/Stories, all of which are
void. Sponsor is also not responsible for programming, electronic,
technological, telephonic, network or other malfunction, error or
failure which in any way affects or interferes with the operation of
the Sweepstakes; or for Stories/entries not timely received or not
received in a usable format or accessible due to filtering by or other
operation of Instagram (or any other cause).
(c) If Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as originally planned due to any
cause beyond Sponsor’s control (e.g., computer virus, act of fraud,
natural disaster), Sponsor may cancel/suspend/modify Sweepstakes
and select the winners in a random drawing from among all eligible
entries received prior to and/or after the action taken by Sponsor or
otherwise determine the winners in a manner determined by Sponsor
in its sole discretion to be fair, appropriate and consistent with these
Official Rules; notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on
@jansport.
(d)Tampering with Sweepstakes or violation of these Official Rules will
result in disqualification; but, disqualification shall not represent the
sole remedy available to Sponsor.
(e) Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Rules in a given
instance is NOT a waiver of such provision.
(f) Any dispute or claim regarding the Sweepstakes will be resolved
pursuant to the internal, substantive law of Delaware. Any such
dispute/claim must be brought individually (NOT as part of a class
action) in U.S. federal or state court in Delaware, with recovery being
limited to one’s actual costs in participating in the Sweepstakes (if any)
with all damages or other forms of recovery being expressly waived.
(g)If any provision of these Official Rules is determined by a court of
competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be
replaced by a substitute provision that most closely approximates the
original intent of Sponsor and is valid, legal and enforceable. The
invalidity/illegality/unenforceability of a given provision shall not affect
the remainder of these Official Rules.

11. WINNERS’ LIST:
For names of winners (first name, last initial; city/state), send an e-mail
request to jansportsocial@vfc.com with JanSport Bow Bag
Sweepstakes Winners in the subject line. Winners’ list will be available
after October 10, 2025; winners’ list request must be received by
October 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. MST.
