The JanSport® Bonfire Sessions Head to Palm Springs on April 21
Following launch event at SXSW, JanSport continues free outdoor concert series on the west coast with Crystal Antlers, Bleached and FIDLAR

NEW YORK, NY and SAN LEANDRO, CA, (April 11, 2012) - JanSport today announces the second event of the 2012 Bonfire Sessions, a free outdoor concert series that brings music fans today's best emerging bands and a bonfire under the big sky. The third annual JanSport Bonfire Sessions series premiered in March at SXSW and now heads to a secret location in Palm Springs for a free concert featuring West Coast talent Crystal Antlers, Bleached and FIDLAR. The secret location and transportation details will be revealed to RSVP participants via email next week. Doors open at 12:00 p.m. The event is 21+ to attend.

Crystal Antlers, Bleached and FIDLAR to Play at a Secret Location in Palm Springs on April 21st

A little bit bluesy, a little bit dirty, and a lot psychedelic, headliners Crystal Antlers merge 60's psych organs with soulful guitars and mournful melodies, creating energetic anthems suitable for sing-along's, swaying, and healthy old-fashioned lighter-raising. Supported by the sounds of fuzzed-out pop-punk Bleached and the reckless glee of LA skate-trash punchers FIDLAR, the Palm Springs Bonfire Sessions is bringing the best of West Coast talent.

This year, the live performances will be captured on film for a new live music documentary series on Noisey.com.

In addition to the concert line-up, local artist Matt Goldman will create a unique poster for the Palm Springs Bonfire Sessions, and concertgoers will receive limited edition silk-screened prints at the show. Goldman is a graphic designer living in Los Angeles, previously working at Shepard Fairey's Studio Number One.

Bands and A Bonfire Under the Big Sky

The third annual JanSport Bonfire Sessions will take place in five cities across North America. The idea is simple - a free outdoor concert featuring a locally adored band and a bonfire. This year, the live performances in Austin, Palm Springs, Toronto, Seattle and San Francisco will be captured on film for a new live music documentary series on Noisey.com. Posters for each event will be created by a local artist as well and will be given away to fans at the show.
