JanSport® Partners with HUF on Second Pack Collaboration
JanSport teams up with HUF to launch limited edition backpack
San Leandro, Calif., (November 2, 2011) - JanSport®, the original outdoor gear Brand that equips people globally with quality backpacks, travel gear and collegiate apparel, today announced its second collaboration with HUF, the west coast purveyor of hard-to-come-by goods, owned by pro skater Keith Hufnagel. Together, JanSport and HUF have reignited a classic 1970s JanSport roll-top pack with fresh new details, including leather zipper pulls and a special JanSport x HUF label, resulting in a timeless collectible, yet wearable piece.
Constructed from a navy waxed cotton twill fabric, the limited edition HUF backpack boasts many unique features, including a dual access main compartment with roll-top and front zipper entry, two vertical stash sleeves, a 15" padded laptop sleeve/magazine stash pocket, accessory pocket and matching accessory pouch.
"For me, inspiration is music, it's art, it's skateboarding," said Keith Hufnagel, owner of HUF. "We always wanted to collaborate with JanSport. We fit together because we have a similar history-different brands, but similar passions. Ours is skateboarding and lifestyle and JanSport's is hiking and camping. We always want to make quality product, and that's one of the reasons we do collaborations with JanSport, because it will be a timeless piece."
