JanSport Reveals Band for the First Stop of its Second Annual Bonfire Sessions
An outdoor concert under the stars at a secret location in Seattle, WA
Featuring special guest band, The Moondoggies

 

San Leandro, Calif., (August 15, 2011) - JanSport®, the original outdoor gear Brand that equips people globally with quality backpacks, travel gear and collegiate apparel, today unveiled The Moondoggies as the special guest band performing at the first stop of the JanSport Bonfire Sessions.

Set to take place at a secret location in Seattle, WA on Saturday, August 27, 2011, the second annual Bonfire Sessions will connect music fans with the outdoors for this once-in-a-lifetime campfire concert set under the stars. Returning to its Seattle birthplace, the JanSport Bonfire Sessions will kick off with indie-folk quartet, The Moondoggies (www.moondoggiesmusic.com). From Seattle's vibrant music scene, the Moondoggies will showcase their a cappella, rock style with songs that strike the perfect balance between hushed acoustic ballads and vintage soul styling for an unforgettable, spirited live show.

Beginning at 6:00 pm on the eve of the show, JanSport will transport party-goers to the event in style from one undisclosed Seattle bus stop and back. For the exact pick-up location, fans are invited to visit JanSport's music blog, Unzipped (www.jansport.com/unzipped) on August 25, when the Seattle bus stop will be revealed.

The subsequent Bonfire Sessions will take place on Saturday, September 10 and Friday, September 23. JanSport will announce each event city and special guest artist in the subsequent weeks, in addition to concert pick-up locations two days before each event.
