Innovative Backpack Rescues Injured Soldiers

One of the toughest, and most crucial, parts of war is evacuating wounded troops. The Pentagon and NATO have recently discussed the possibility of using UAV’s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) to safely evacuate injured troops. However, an Israeli company (Agilite) has developed an innovative high-tech plastic backpack/sling/bungee hybrid that allows troops to carry injured persons to safety—on their backs.
