Time: 5:00 am
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 9th, 2010. Start time 5:00 AM. ROUTE: First, Mt. Baldy, via the Sierra Club Hut route from Manker Flats. Second, San Gorgonio, via Vivian Creek Trail. Third, San Jacinto, via the tram, then through Round Valley to the summit. (Note: last tram up is 8:00 PM, last tram down is 9:45 PM. Plan to spend the night at the Round Valley base camp! You can drop off your gear on the way up. Tram cost is $21.95; after 3pm “Twilight Rate” is only $18.95. CHECK IN: Arrive by 6:00 PM September 8th at the Mt. Baldy Lodge (909.982.1115) for final instructions. FREE spaghetti dinner sponsored by JanSport. There are plenty of campgrounds and hotels in the area.
