Teen who summited Everest to tackle Antarctica Next

15-year-old Jordan Romero made international headlines last year when he set the world record by climbing Mount Everest. The California teenager has another big challenge ahead. Jordan will travel to Antarctica to begin ascending 16,000 feet up Mount Vinson Massif, the tallest mountain on the continent.

Street Machine x JanSport Right Pack Signature Series Release Party

Street Machine celebrated the launch of their JanSport Right Pack Signature Series collaboration with an in-store release party in Copenhagen, Denmark. The project launched last week with 9 skate shops around the globe to create a series of limited edition iconic JanSport Right Packs. The 9 select boutique retailers in North America and Europe designed one-of-a-kind patches that embrace the culture specific to each retailer’s respective community.

About Street Machine’s one-of-a-kind patch:

Skateboarders are constantly scouting the city for new possibilities. Street Machine created a scout style badge inspired by a manhole cover to imbue a city feel. The badge features the Copenhagen skyline taken from one of the Street Machine deck graphics and a wreath representing the shop’s location on Kronprinsensgade (translation: The Crown Prince’s Street).

The JanSport Right Pack Signature Series officially kicked off last Tuesday, Nov. 15 with 9 skate shops around the globe to create a series of limited edition iconic JanSport Right Packs. The 9 select boutique retailers in North America and Europe designed one-of-a-kind patches that embrace the culture specific to each retailer’s respective community.

We’re excited to announce our second-year collaboration with HUF to create this limited edition JanSport x HUF backpack!

Together, JanSport and HUF have reignited a classic 1970s JanSport roll-top pack with fresh new details, including leather zipper pulls and a special JanSport x HUF label, resulting in a timeless collectible, yet wearable piece. Constructed from a navy waxed cotton twill fabric, the limited edition HUF backpack boasts many unique features, including a dual access main compartment with roll-top and front zipper entry, two vertical stash sleeves, a 15” padded laptop sleeve/magazine stash pocket, accessory pocket and matching accessory pouch.

Gear Junkie Treasure Hunt – Major Swag!

We posted earlier this week about the Gear Junkie Treasure Hunt that took place on October 23 in a wilderness park near Roanoke, Virginia. The event was a huge success! Thousands of people were in attendance and nearly 200 racers completed the treasure hunt course. Gear Junkie gave away over $40,000 in prizes, including JanSport outdoor packs. Below are few photos of some of the lucky winners!
